RAFFLE!

Here are the prizes I have gathered so far for the raffle drawings to be held on August 19 at the benefit concert. Need not be present to win. If you would like to enter, make a donation here, $5 an entry. Then send me a message at artsywhiterabbit@yahoo.com letting me know which drawing you would like to enter.

Progress and GIVEAWAY!

• Running progress...we are on week 4 of the Couch 25K app.  My knees have been aching and it's been difficult because of that. I am trying some tips, and trying to take a day or two to rest between runs.
• I've lost over 5 lbs!
• Fundraising progress...slow. We just have had one donation. I am very grateful for that donation but we need way more!! Click on the Sammy B. button on the side to help, please.
• Events: 

1. We are having a yard and bake sale this Saturday, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Faith Community Church in Lynden. We are still seeking donations for the sale, either household/yard sale items or baked goods.

I got a lot done today and it's only 9:40 am!

I had a really busy day yesterday but I got the Roller Derby Workout DVD done AND after derby scrimmage last night, J and I went on a run/walk in the rain after dark! It seems to be getting easier.

Bittersweet.

Kindergarten Graduation

E. had his last day of kindergarten last week. He had a great time and learned a lot. He struggled in some areas, but also overcame some obstacles. He loved his teacher and made some new friends.

The class had a nice ceremony. They performed several fun songs, recognized volunteers, handed out diplomas and ate refreshments.

Sorry about the fuzzy photos, I had my camera set wrong. :(

Two days later E. had his tonsils and adenoids out. He did fine during surgery and is recovering nicely. He had to miss the last day of school, which was a half day, but he was very sad about missing.

Training

Day two of using Couch 2 5 K and I think almost every muscle in my legs are screaming at me. J and I did the first day yesterday morning and this morning I just couldn't get out of bed. We did our run late tonight and I thought it was actually ok. What? Who is this woman??
