My husband and I submitted our request for our background check mid November. I understand your offices are busy and it's currently taking 10-12 weeks. We are in the process of adopting a little girl from Africa who has severe epilepsy. She is not able to be treated in her country and we are trying to get her here as soon as possible. The only thing holding up our paperwork is the letter from the FBI stating our fingerprints are cleared. Is it possible in anyway to expedite things to help our little girl to get here quickly?
